Meet Erin Schoettle, LCSW (she/her)
Therapist. Mother. Survivor. Advocate. Human.
You deserve a therapist who understands what it feels like to carry heavy things. The kind you learned to hold long before you could name them. I became a therapist because I know what it’s like to fight through pain, rebuild yourself, and try to thrive while still healing old wounds.
As a trauma survivor, a mother who has experienced loss, and a neurodivergent clinician, I bring lived experience, deep empathy, and evidence-based trauma treatment to every session.
My mission is simple:
To help you find your voice. Maybe for the first time, or for the first time in a long time.
What I Believe
You deserve to feel safe in your own body.
Your story matters. Every part of it.
Trauma changes us, but healing transforms us.
Connection is one of the strongest forms of medicine.
Progress looks different on everyone.
You are not “too much.” You’re carrying too much.
How I Work
I move at your pace
I offer in-person and virtual therapy
I create a calm, nonjudgmental environment
I bring both professional training and real-life understanding and experiences
I support children, teens, adults, and families
Many clients say, “That is the first time I’ve ever said
that out loud.”
You don’t have to be perfect here.
You just have to show up. I’ll meet you where you are.
My Approach to Therapy
Warm. Grounded. Empowering. Direct when needed. Always trauma-informed. Humor included.
I utilize evidence-based therapies to help you:
understand your emotions instead of fearing them
untangle shame
change unhelpful patterns
heal unresolved trauma
strengthen relationships
build confidence and self-trust
Therapy with me feels like a conversation with someone who truly gets you. Someone who holds space without judgment while helping you grow into the version of yourself you’ve been waiting to meet.
